I was born in Rafaela, a serene city in the heart of the interior of Argentina, where discipline and work are part of the landscape. My story is woven with light and shadows: I am the son of a mother and father photographers and, since I was a child, the camera was my compass and the darkroom, my laboratory of discoveries. I learned to listen to the silent language of the enlarger, to reveal secrets hidden among film, paper and photographic emulsions. That childhood curiosity turned into a vocation and, in 1974, I graduated as a professional photographer in an extension of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, in the city of Santa Fe, Argentina.
My path soon bifurcated towards the media: radio, written press and television. I immersed myself in advertising and executive production, creating narratives to be told on air or on paper. At the end of the 20th century, a wind of transformation took me to Brazil. I crossed the threshold of the known and found myself in Jericoacoara, in the state of Ceará. A true, almost untouched paradise where nature and freedom are a single entity. It was there that I began to discover a “new me”; in the womb of the warm sea and the powerful murmur of the wind. This epiphany prompted me to explore further: I crossed the ocean and landed in Europe with renewed eyes, eager for art.
Paris was my muse and Montmartre, my workshop of emotions. There, life and art merged in a ballet of unknown cultures and intense experiences. I was part of the extraordinary Eurovision show between 2010 and 2013, a golden stage where my creativity found recognition. Photography, my first love, guided me across continents and cultures until my Latin American roots called me back.
I returned to Brazil and chose Rio de Janeiro as my home. Here, I immersed myself in the greatest outdoor spectacle on the planet - Carnival. I danced in a universe of colors, rhythms and metamorphoses. Through the lens, I discovered the monumental art of the “carnavalescos” and understood the parade as a symphony of creativity.
Inspired by the avant-garde spirit of Man Ray, the cosmovision of Van Goght and the visual narrative of Hieronimus Bosch, I decided to go beyond the traditional limits and delved into Algorithmic Art. An adventure that fuses the tangible with the digital. My works are visual alchemies: starting from my own photographs, I intervene them in a process of manual painting, algorithms, collage and digital retouching. Each creation is a “work in progress”, an incessant process. A search for my own transformed “I”.
